100% correct. Most of the downtown XXX Theaters run by the mob and they contracted Costello to make them. He cut costs everywhere (lol -the soundtracks are a copyright infringement nightmare) and always cast himself to save $50. He did bring us Del Rio and my hats off to him for being Gillis' and Serenas' fav fuck buddy. Cheers

Interesting, I love porn trivia. I had always heard that it was unfounded gossip about organized crime involvement in early porn. I never really believed it though. If they're into prostitution and strip clubs, then porn only makes sense.

This was one of many "One Day Wonders" produced in the Spring of 1973 for Star Distributors, which was the porno unit of the Gambino crime family. These films were budgeted at $5,000.and had a cast of six. "One Day Wonders" were simple, happy go lucky, good natured, sometimes funny sex movies. Nothing more. Nothing less.
